Tough conditions in Raheny

The wet and cold conditions didn't dampen the enthusiasm of over 2000 athletes who lined up in Raheny yesterday for the AXA 5 mile road race - a record entry despite the downpour. CSH had 8 athletes participating with first home for the club being Mick Fennell (31:03), followed by Paul Cullen (33:01 - PB), Jimmy Courtney (34:13), Padraig Gibbons (37:25), Loise Seger (37:37), Joe Chaney (39:16), Tom Turner (41:00) and Sally Brannick (43:47). Well done to all. Best wishes to Paul Cowhie who had a nasty fall on the day.
