A perfect evening on the beach

On a warm Tuesday evening 15 CSH runners took part in the ESB BHAA Beach 5k race on Sandymount strand. First home for CSH and the overall winner of the race was Paul Cowhie in 16mins10sec. This was the 7^th time in succession that Paul has won this race – an amazing result, congrats to Paul. Second home for CSH was Kevin Lenehan in 19mins3sec and 3^rd was Mark Lenehan in 19mins58sec. First CSH lady was Angie McElligot in 20mins48sec which earned Angie 4^th place overall in the race – well done Angie. Second lady home for CSH was Brid Ryan in 21mins45sec followed closely by Lisa Murphy in 21mins51sec. Prizes to CSH on the night went to Maire Norris who was 2^nd in her category and to Mairead Cullen who was 3^rd in the same category. Well done to all! Looking forward to the next BHAA race in Dunboyne next Tuesday.
