Congrats to Tony Martin and Tom Turner who ran in the recent Clonliffe Harriers 2 mile. This is the oldest race in Ireland and was being run for the 121st time. Tony ran 14mins23sec and won his category and Tom was close behind him in 15mins22sec.
Congrats also to the club members who ran in the renamed Terenure 5mile yesterday. First home for CSH was Bobby Bedford in 27mins48sec which earned him 16th place overall and first in his category. Second home was Grainne Butler in 32mins50sec who again repeated her performance from RTE the previous week by winning her category. Third home and another winner in her category was Riitta Kansanniva in 34mins23sec. Following closely behind Riitta was Brid Ryan in 35mins53sec - the Mayo training clearly showing benefits.
